Ho ho ho! It’s not even Thanksgiving and already we are surrounded by Christmas music and toy ads on TV. It’s kinda fun :) . I just finished a group of illustrations based on a Christmas poem. Here are few of the illustrations I liked best. Happy Christmas!

Illustration Friday

Just a few more from that batch of pictures about Noah and dinosaurs. I’ve been experimenting with textures and brushes in photoshop but haven’t quite found my “bliss”. Maybe I never will… I mean, isn’t the drive to improve your work part of being an artist? :)

Yay! I’ve had this book on my schedule since last spring and we’re finally getting around to finishing it up. I’ve been working on the illustrations this week and am on target to finish everything up today. I’ll post a few more this weekend once it’s all finished up. Enjoy :) .

I decided to give the Illustration Friday topic a try and came up with this… well, I had a lot of immediate reactions to VACANT. For example a vacant stare, vacancy, empty houses, etc… so I rested on a sketch of a bear trying to get honey out of a vacant beehive :) . Oh golly. Well, maybe I’ll do better next time! Thanks for visiting!
