And now for something a little different!  I was asked to do this retro-styled piece for one of my clients and thought it sounded like a good challenge!  I’d love to dig into this technique a little more and see where it takes me.  I’ve also been taking some figure drawing classes at the KIA and those have definitely been helping me identify problem areas in my art.

Till next time!  Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Ya’ll (ala’ Paula Dean), today’s my birfday so I took the day off!  Woo!  Hoo!  Had a little Lee’s chicken, downloaded some iPod apps, and did a drawing for sketchoholic.com.  Today Bobby Chui is interviewing Humberto Ramos so I’m doing a fun drawing for the related drawing contest.

While you are here check out the book page I’ve added to the site!  I’ve linked most of the books I’ve worked on and it’s neat to see everything in one place :) .

I collaborated with a friend from across the ‘pond’ and this is what we came up with… I hope to have more to tell you some day in the near future.

Go get em, A!

This guy might have slipped between the verses in Romans but someone noticed him in verse 16:23. Erastus is only mentioned briefly but we know that he was a city official. This illustration will be used in a short sermon for children this weekend.
In other news, I’m experimenting a bit with my technique… this image shows some of that and I’ve got some others as well I’ll be posting soon. Thanks for looking!
